7.1.4 Assignments and Permissions

Assignment is a relationship between a single Resource Pool and a User Role, which enables to configure one or more permissions under it.

NOTE:An assignment created for a Resource Pool and a User Role is unique, hence the same assignment cannot be created again.

Permissions define the access criteria, such as Privilege Level, Allowed Access time, Monitoring options, File or Folder access control, Customization etc for assignment.

NOTE:Every time a new permission is added the user has to log out and log in for the new permission to take effect.
