This section provides information about PlateSpin® Portability Suite software, which comprises the PlateSpin® Migrate and PlateSpin® Protect products.
Both products are based on a common workload portability and protection engine (Portability Suite Server) and use the same client (Portability Suite Client).
Portability Suite products enable you to migrate and protect heterogeneous workloads (operating systems along with their applications and data) across x86 server and desktop infrastructure in the data center, decoupling a workload’s hardware from software.
