Before starting the upgrade, make sure that you have the following prerequisites:
The Forge setup installation executable.
The VMware ESX CD.
IP addresses and appropriate credentials for:
The Forge appliance (used for the Forge Web Client Interface and the Forge Management VM)
The Forge Appliance Host (VMware ESX server)
The VMware Virtual Infrastructure Client. See Downloading the VMware Infrastructure Client (VIC).
