Download the PlateSpin Transformation Manager Appliance file from the NetIQ Downloads site:
PlatespinTM.x86_64-1.0.0.xxx.ovf.zip, where xxx represents the build number.
Extract the PlatespinTM.x86_64-1.0.0.xxx.ovf.zip file on your management workstation so that the PlateSpinTM-version file folder appears.
Extract the file using a third-party extractor; do not use the default Windows extractor.
Configure the virtualization host server where you will run the appliance. Continue with Section 2.2, Deploying the Appliance and Configuring the Virtual Environment.
