13.3 Configuring the Block-Based Transfer Method for Clusters

Incremental replications for Windows clusters can use a driverless method (Default) or driver-based method (SingleNodeBBT) for block-based data transfer, depending on the PlateSpin global configuration setting WindowsClusterMode. For more information, see Block-Based Transfer for Clusters.

To configure WindowsClusterMode:

  1. Go to the PlateSpin Server configuration page at

    https://<platespin-server-ip-address>/PlateSpinConfiguration

  2. Search for WindowsClusterMode, then click Edit.

  3. In the Value field, select Default to use driverless synchronization for incremental replication, or select SingleNodeBBT to use block-based drivers for incremental replication.

  4. Click Save.
