Because of Protected Mode functionality, the Dashboard server must be added as a trusted site before the Dashboard can be run successfully using IE 7+ in Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 in Protected Mode.
Unfortunately, if Protected Mode is enabled for the entire enterprise, having each user modify the Trusted Sites list is difficult to maintain. Therefore, we recommend adding the Dashboard server to the list of Trusted Sites by the enterprise administrator through domain policy and pushed out to all clients.
