7.15 Trying to Download Large Files Through Linux Access Gateway Might Result in Browser Freeze, or Slowdown or Broken Files

The minimum space requirement for Linux Access Gateway is 30 GB. The recommended disk space requirement is about 100 GB. The COS partition should be at least four times the size of the maximum downloadable file.

For example, for a disk size of X, the COS partition can have a maximum of Y disk space. The maximum file download size is Y/4 (for example, if the COS partition size is 10 GB, the maximum file download can approximately be 2 GB).

To download files through Linux Access Gateway that have a size above 520 MB might end up in browser freeze, browser slowdown, and broken (truncated) files. For more information on permitted file download size, see TID 7005294
