7.13 Using Internet Explorer Browser Not Able to Download .doc, .docx, .exe, .jpg and zip Attachments

After installing and configuring the Linux Access Gateway, you are not able to download .doc, .docx, .exe, .jpg and zip attachments in the Internet Explorer browser.

To workaround this issue, do the following steps:

  1. In the Administration Console, click Devices > Access Gateways > Servers > Configuration > Reverse Proxy > Proxy Service > HTTP Options

  2. Enable Allow Pages to Be Cached by the Browser option.

  3. Click Apply to apply the changes.
