4.3 Finding a Host

To locate a particular SNMP host in the Hosts property dialog box:

  1. In the Explorer pane, expand the Elements root element.

  2. Right-click the SNMP Integrator element, then select Properties to open the Status property page.

  3. In the left pane, click Hosts/Devices to open the Hosts/Devices property page.

  4. Click Find to open the Find dialog box.

  5. Specify a keyword matching the host name, then click OK.

    The search takes place. A dialog box confirms the number of matching hosts and highlights them in the Hosts/Devices property page.

  6. Click OK to close the dialog box.

    HINT:You can also use a Perl 5 regular expression to search for hosts. The following example matches all hosts with Acme.com:
