By default, the Operations Center Section 2.2.1, Verifying Your Operations Center Server’s Default Accounts and Configuration Settings.
user account is used by the Dashboard to establish a persistent connection to receive user account information and data from the Operations Center server. The Dashboard can be configured to use a different account for the persistent connection. For more information about this account, seeIMPORTANT:While you can deactivate the default admin account in the Dashboard, do not delete it. By deactivating the account, it cannot be used to log in to the Dashboard.
To change the persistent user account for the Dashboard:
On the Operations Center server console, create the new user account to use for the Dashboard persistent connection with the following properties/permissions:
Is a member of the admins group
Has both console and Web access

Log in to the Dashboard using the default admin account.
To assign the new admin account as the Administrator role:

tab, then click the tab.Locate the name of the new persistent user account.
If the user is not available, synchronization has probably not occurred yet. Either wait for the users to be synchronized or log in as the new user to force the account to be synchronized.

Select the check box next to the account name.

Log out and log in using the new Administrator account.

To access the Operations Center Dashboard Configuration Manager, do one of the following:

UNIX: At a command prompt, run Customizer from the /OperationsCenter_Dashboard_install_path/bin directory.
The Operations Center Dashboard Configuration Manager is displayed.

in the tab.Update the following settings:
Novell Operations Center Server System User Id: The user name of the Operations Center admin account that is used for handling the persistent connection for user synchronization between the Dashboard and Operations Center.

Novell Operations Center Server System User Password: The corresponding password of the Operations Center admin account specified in the
