The Access Manager 4.0 Hotfix 3 supercedes Access Manager 4.0 Hotfix 2.
This version has been compiled with additional security flags for the new packages that provide support for TLS (Transport Layer Security) 1.1 and 1.2 and also includes all the software fixes in Hotfix 2.
For the list of software fixes, enhancements and known issues in the previous releases, see Access Manager 4.0 Readme, Access Manager 4.0 Hotfix 1 Readme and Access Manager 4.0 Hotfix 2 Readme.
NOTE:Ensure that you are currently on one of these following releases before upgrading to Access Manager Hotfix 3 :

To upgrade to Access Manager 4.0 Hotfix 3, download the AM_400_HF3.zip file that contains the Access Manager Patch Tool and the patch file using the following steps:
Go to NetIQ downloads page.
Under Patches, click Search Patches.
Specify AM_400_HF3.zip in the search box and download the Hotfix file.
Upgrade using the procedure described in Upgrading Access Manager Using the Patch Process for Linux and Upgrading Access Manager 4.0 Using the Patch Process for Windows.
On the Access Gateway server, execute the following command:

If the output of the command includes the novell-nacm-apache-openssl101*-2.2.24-* packages, then it is necessary to reinstall the Access Gateway packages delivered with Hotfix 3 to enable TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2. For more information about this, see Enabling TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 for Access Manager 4.0
