NetIQ XDAS is automatically installed if either the NetIQ Identity Manager Metadirectory Server or NetIQ Identity Manager Connected System option is selected during the Identity Manager installation. For more information on the Identity Manager installation, see Installing the Engine, Drivers, and iManager Plug-ins in the NetIQ Identity Manager Setup Guide. The XDAS library (xdaslog.rpm or xdaslog.dll) must be installed on every server running Identity Manager for logging Identity Manager events through XDAS.
