9.2 Troubleshooting Failed Configurations

Use the following information to troubleshoot a failed configuration of components:

Issue: The configuration of the identity applications fails.

Suggested Action: Access the log files as described in Section 9.1, Locating Log Files and Properties Files. Search for the word localhost. If you find this word in the logs, it means that you did not change the default value of localhost to a valid IP address or DNS name under Advanced Settings during the configuration. Rerun the configuration and provide a valid IP address or DNS name under the Advanced Settings.
