After the SOAP driver files are installed on the server where you want to run the driver (see Section 2.0, Installing the Driver Files), you can create the driver in the Identity Vault. You do so by installing the driver packages and then modifying the driver configuration to suit your environment.
The SOAP driver comes with packages for the SPML protocol and for the DSML protocol. For information about the two protocols, see SPML and DSML, Section 5.1, Understanding the DSML Configuration, and Section 5.2, Understanding the SPML Configuration.
