9.0 Configuring Remote Loader in FIPS mode

To configure FIPS mode on Remote Loader, perform the following steps:

1. Place the following jar files in the C:\NetIQ\IDM\RemoteLoader\lib folder:

   • bc-fips-1.0.2.4.jar

   • bcpkix-fips-1.0.7.jar

   • bctls-fips-1.0.18.jar

2. Navigate to Remote loader folder and launch rlconsole.

3. Create and start a driver. It generates a config file in the folder.

4. Add the following line to the config file:

   is_fips_enabled=true

5. Save the file and restart the RL instance.
