While deploying or reconciling a Global Configuration Value (GCV), Designer only deploys the GCV. It fails to deploy reference attributes responsible for maintaining the linkage.
To workaround this issue, perform the following actions:
Right-click the driver set and select Live > Driver Set Configuration > Compare Attributes.
Ensure that only the DirXML-Globalconfig attribute is shown and the newly added GCV reference is shown as the difference.
Select the driver set in the Compare window.
Reconcile the driver set with the Identity Vault.
