9.2 Working with Case-Sensitive DNs

The LDAP driver stores the Fully Qualified Distinguished Name (FQDN) of an object in lowercase as an association value in the connected LDAP server. If you have configured the LDAP server to enforce case sensitivity for DNs, many Subscriber operations such as modify, query, or migrate a user will fail. Therefore, NetIQ does not recommend you to enforce case sensitivity for DNs in the LDAP server.
