This release of Roles and Resource Service driver resolves previous issues.

This hotfix requires NetIQ Identity Manager 4.7.5 or later

Install this hotfix on the Identity Vault server(s).

1. Log in to the Identity Vault server as a root user.

2. Stop the User Application and Role and Resource Service drivers.

3. Stop the eDirectory service by running the following command:

ndsmanage stopall

4. Download and unzip the contents of the IDM47_RRSD_4750.zip file to a temporary location on your computer.

5. Navigate to the linux directory.

6. Install the new RPM by running the following command:

rpm -U <Driver Patch Directory>/linux/netiq-DXMLrrsd.rpm

7. Start the eDirectory service by running the following command:

ndsmanage startall

8. Start the User Application and Role and Resource Service drivers if not already started.

1. Stop the User Application and Role and Resource Service drivers.

2. Stop the eDirectory service.

3. Download and unzip the contents of the IDM47_RRSD_4750.zip file to a temporary location on your computer.

4. Navigate to the windows directory.

5. Copy the nrfdriver.jar file to the <Identity Vault installation path>\eDirectory\lib directory.

6. Start the eDirectory service.

7. Start the User Application and Role and Resource Service drivers if not already started.

3.1 Issues Fixed in This Release

• Bug 356209: Error reported on the RRS driver when you remove a role which has two or more resources assigned to the role.

• Bug 312250: RRSD returns NPE during role recalculation if <cause> section is missing in the nrfGroupRoles attribute.

• Bug 315125: RRSD returns NPE during role recalculation if a group membership is removed and a different group is added during a single operation.

• Bug 310269: RRSD returns NPE during role recalculation if nrfInheritedRoles value for a child role is missing.

• Bug 1170579: Moving user object for a Role Administrator is causing the <ent-ref> <ent-dn> sections to be removed from nrfassignedresources attribute.

• Bug 1171820: RRSD returns NPE during roles recalculation after role removal.

• Bug 1141336: Ability to manually set the expiry check interval for increasing the system performance.

• Bug 1156142: The <cause> element in nrfGroupRoles attribute correctly updates when overlapping Role Assignments are present.

• Bug 1156671: Ability to correctly resynchronize users after roles, resources, or entitlements are recalculated.

• Bug 1158919: When you delete a role that has the nrfexpirationdate set, the nrfnextexpiration attribute is updated automatically.
