Policies manage the data that is synchronizing between the Identity Vault and the remote data store. The policies are stored in the policy sets (see Understanding Policy Components
in OpenText™ Identity Manager CE 24.4 (v4.10) Understanding Policies Guide.) Designer provides a wide set of tools for defining and debugging policies to control how information flows from one system to another, and under what conditions.
