21.1 Create SoD

  1. Specify the values for all the fields marked with an asterisk (*), including the two conflicting roles for which you want to create a SoD constraint.

    You can specify Name, ID, and Description for the SoD in different languages. See, Change Language.

  2. (Conditional) If you want an approval process for the SoD, perform the following:

    1. Enable Approval Required for the SoD.

      This will initiate the approval process when the conflict arises between the specified roles during assignments.

    2. (Optional) Enable Use Default Approvers. If the default SoD approver is not defined, you may receive an error. For more information, see Separation of Duties Settings.

    3. (Conditional) If you want to use different approvers other than the default approvers, select the Approvers from the list and reorder the sequence to define the hierarchy.

    4. Click Create SoD.
