6.2 Update Procedure

Perform the following steps to update ACDI:

  1. Log in to the ACDI server as root user.

  2. Download acdi_v24.4.zip from the Software License and Download portal.

  3. Navigate to the /opt directory and create a new directory inside /opt.

    For example, mkdir 24.4

  4. Unzip acdi_v24.4.zip in the new directory.

IMPORTANT:Do not unzip where ACDI is currently installed. This will overwrite existing files in /opt/acdi and cause an update failure.

  5. Run the ./update_24.2-24.4.sh script.

    For example, sles15sp5:/opt/24.4/acdi # ./update_24.2-24.4.sh

  6. Specify the path where ACDI is currently installed.

    For example, /opt/acdi

  7. (Optional) After the update, view the installation summary in the ./ACDIinstaller directory.

NOTE:Your existing dashboards and reports are backed up in the acdi_backup_<stamp>/_dashboards_reports directory after ACDI is updated.

  8. Copy the updated files from the /opt/acdi/AuditDriver/Server directory to the server running OpenText Identity Manager. For location details, see Installing Audit, Compliance & Data Intelligence.

  9. Restart OpenText Identity Manager.

  10. Launch Designer.

  11. Copy the updated files from the /opt/acdi/AuditDriver/Designer directory to the system running Designer.

  12. Update the packages for ACDI Driver, ACDI Monitor, and Workflow Monitor. For more information about how to update the packages, see Upgrading Installed Packages in the Designer Administration Guide for OpenTextâ„¢ Identity Manager CE 24.4 (v4.10)

  13. Deploy and restart the drivers.
