The data connectors consists of components such as ACDI drivers, ACDI monitors, and workflow monitor packages, which connect an ACDI proxy service to the connected system. The connected system can be any system, directory, database, or operating system whose identity information you want to monitor. For example, it could be the Syslog server used by OpenText Access Manager or an LDAP directory such as OpenText eDirectory in OpenText Identity Manager.
These data connectors are installed on the connected systems. The connected system or application must provide APIs for a data connector to detect changes in application data.
