Group Policy Administrator 6.9.3 Patch Update 1 (GPA 6.9.3.1) resolves specific previous issues. This document outlines why you should install this patch update.

Prerequisite: Install GPA 6.9.3 Console before installing GPA 6.9.3.1.
To install GPA 6.9.3.1, perform the following steps on the computer running the GPA Console:
Close all the instances of GPA Console.
Run the GPA_6_9_3_1.EXE file.

This patch includes the following bug fixes:
Issue: If you update link orders for OUs with more than 102 GPOs in the GP Repository, the change is not maintained.(ENG350935)
Fix: GPO link orders update as expected.
Issue: When you attempt to start the GPA Server Configuration utility from the GPA Console, the following error displays:
GPA Server configuration could not be started: The system cannot find the file specified.
(ENG349975)
Fix: The GPA Server Configuration utility starts from the GPA Console.
Issue: Deselect Import GPOs in the Offline Mirror Wizard, navigate to another page in the wizard and return, to find it selected again automatically.(ENG349230)
Fix: The Import GPO option functions as expected.

Issue: If you use English as your display language in a non-English operating system, the check boxes in the Merge utility is not displayed.
Workaround: Ensure that the display language and the System locale are set to the same language.
Issue: If you specify the custom index path in GPA 6.8.x while upgrading the GPA Server from GPA 6.8.x to GPA 6.9.2, the installer does not detect the custom path and the GPO search is displays incomplete data until the re-index.
Workaround: Copy the index path from the GPA 6.8.x Console domain node and paste the index path in the Index Settings page when upgrading to GPA 6.9.2.
Issue: The GPA Console might crash on a Windows 10 French version, and duplicate nodes are displayed in the Repository when the domain node is refreshed.
Workaround: Reopen the GPA Console.
Issue: If you use the New Assignment wizard to create a new role for the first time on a given console machine, the permissions tree may not display in some cases.
Workaround: Use the Custom Role node to create a new role successfully, for a given user and console machine.
GPA 6.9.3.1 modifies the following files located in the GPA Installation Path \Bin folder on the computer running the GPA Console:
