eDirectory 9.1.4 P1 provides the following software fix in this release:
eDirectory 9.1.4 P1 includes the following software fix:
Issue: Compound indexes created prior to eDirectory 9.1 SP4 are non-functional. (Bug 1138239)
Fix: Compound indexes will be re-created automatically after upgrading to eDirectory 9.1.4 P1 or later. In case you are performing ldapsearch operation using SSS and VLV, then wait for the newly created indexes to be online.
If you are already using eDirectory 9.1 SP4 and have re-created the compound indexes using the ndsrepair -R command, then you can skip upgrading to this latest version of eDirectory. However if you still upgrade to eDirectory 9.1.4 P1, all indexes will be re-created automatically.
The status of the re-creation of the compound indexes can be monitored using the iManager or iMonitor or the ndsindex utility.
To upgrade to eDirectory 9.1.4 Patch 1, you need to be on eDirectory 9.1 SP4.
The following feature will be deprecated in the upcoming eDirectory 9.2 release:
Auditing with XDAS: We will be deprecating support for auditing with XDAS in 9.2. We recommend you to use CEF for auditing.
