Support for Identity Manager 4.6

This version of eDirectory supports Identity Manager 4.6. For more information, see NetIQ Identity Manager 4.6 Release Notes.

1.2 Fixed Issues

This release includes the following software fixes that resolve several previous issues:

eDirectory Fails to Connect to Sentinel Server 7.4.2 and Above

Issue: eDirectory is unable to send data to the Sentinel server 7.4.2 and above using the Audit Connector due to Java rejecting the certificates signed with MD5.

Fix: This release updates eDirectory to send data to the Sentinel server 7.4.2 and above using Audit Connector. For more information, refer to the NetIQ Downloads Web site and the Novell Audit Platform Agent Guide (Sentinel Plug-Ins 2011.1r5).(Bug 988749)

3.0 Installing or Upgrading

To upgrade to eDirectory 8.8.8.9 HF2, go to the NetIQ Downloads page and follow the link to download the software.

4.0 Supported Upgrade Paths

The installation program provides the ability to upgrade from eDirectory 8.8 SP8 onwards or perform a new installation.

Ensure that you are currently on eDirectory 8.8.8 Patch 9 or above before applying this hot fix.

  1. Download the iManager plug-in (eDir_88_iMan27_Plugins.npm) from the Downloads website.
