1.0 What’s New?

This version of Workflow Automation includes the following new features and enhancements:

1.1 DRA Workflow Integration

Added the ability to define custom delegated workflow forms in DRA, launch workflows directly from DRA, and view the status of submitted workflow requests.

1.2 Convert JSON to XML Activity

Added the new “Convert JSON to XML” parsing activity.

1.3 Exchange Web Service Support in the IQMail Adapter

You can now use EWS to support Exchange instead of MAPI so that Outlook is not required. This new feature also includes the “Send Mail with EWS” activity.

1.4 Support for Transport Layer Security 1.2

Workflow Automation 3.4 supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols version 1.2. The following drivers are required by TLS 1.2:

  • ODBC Driver 13 for SQL Serve (x64 bit) or ODBC Driver 13.1 for SQL Serve (x64 bit)

  • SQL Server Native Client 11 (x64)

The SQL Server Native Client 11 driver is included in the Workflow Automation 3.4 pre-requisite check and will install if it is not on the server. ODBC Driver 13 (or 3.1) for SQL Serve is not included with the installer.

1.5 DRA REST based Activity Library

Added the Directory and Resource Administrator REST library.

1.6 New Support in the Legacy DRA Adapter

Made the 64 bits build DRA Adapter an optional component with the Workflow Automation installer. Also removed the requirement to install the DRA console as a pre-requisite.

1.7 New Support in the VMware Adapter

Added the 64 bits build for the VMware Adapter and activity library, which is now standard with the base Workflow Automation installation. However, the Adapter still requires its own license.

1.8 New Support in the ServiceNow Adapter

The ServiceNow Adapter now supports the “New Ticket” event for triggering workflows. Also added the ServiceNow Activity Library and Create Ticket/Update Ticket/Add Work Note.

1.9 Rename an existing process in AegisWorkflowImport

Added an option to the AegisWorkflowImport Utility to rename existing processes (ENG347215).

Also added the ServiceNow Activity Library, Create Ticket/Update Ticket/Add Work Note.

1.10 Add PUT and PATCH methods to Make HTTP Request

Added PUT and PATCH methods to the "Make HTTP Request" activity (ENG344561).
