2.9 Installing the Workflow Automation Event Generator

These steps guide you through the process of installing the Workflow Automation Event Generator on a local computer.

To install the Workflow Automation Event Generator on a local computer:

  1. Log on with an Administrator account to the computer where you want to install the Workflow Automation components.

  2. Run the NetIQ Aegis setup program from the root folder of the Workflow Automation installation kit.

    NOTE:Ensure the installation kit is located on the local computer where you are running the setup program.

  3. Click Begin Setup.

  4. On the Select Features window, select Aegis Event Generator (optional), and then click Next.

  5. Follow the instructions in the Setup wizard until you finish installing the Workflow Automation Event Generator, and then click Finish.
