1.4 Starting the Configuration Console the First Time

The Configuration Console is a Windows-based application delivered to your desktop using Microsoft ClickOnce publishing and deployment technology. To start the console the first time, launch it from the Operations Console. The initial ClickOnce deployment creates a shortcut in the NetIQ program group.

NOTE:If your environment does not allow ClickOnce installation, you can install the Configuration Console locally on any computer. For more information about installing the Configuration Console locally, see the NetIQ Workflow Automation Administrator Guide.

To launch the Configuration Console from the Operations Console:

  1. If you are logged on to the Web Server computer, on the Start menu, click All Programs > NetIQ, and then click NetIQ Aegis Operations Console.
