1.3 Process Author Checklist

Process Authors are responsible for creating and maintaining processes and their associated workflows. After the Workflow Automation Administrator has completed the initial configuration tasks, the Process Author can start creating triggers and process workflows in Workflow Automation. Use the following checklist to help you complete these tasks.

 

Checklist Items

  1. For triggers that reference specific types of events, create named events. For more information, see Understanding Named Events.

  1. Create triggers. For more information, see Understanding Triggers.

  1. Create new processes. For more information, see Creating a Process.

  1. If you are responsible for ensuring servers are resources in Workflow Automation, set up resources and business services. For more information about resources, see the NetIQ Workflow Automation Administrator Guide.
