  • Resolved an issue that caused the CollectInputFormUser activity to stall, because there were no input rows. (ENG351551)

3.0 Known Issues

We strive to ensure our products provide quality solutions for your enterprise software needs. The following issue is currently being researched. If you need further assistance with any issue, please contact Technical Support.

3.1 Cannot open Operations Console due to duplication of certification binding in IIS Manager

If you install Workflow Automation and import a certificate for SSL on a server that already has a certification binding on port 443 > https with an empty IP address, another binding gets created for that port and the Default Web Server will not start when attempting to open the Workflow Automation Operations Console after the installation.

Workaround: To avoid this situation, follow these steps:

  1. Before running the Workflow Automation installer, open IIS Manager, expand the server tree, and select Default Web Site.

  2. Click Bindings in the Action panel.

    • If there is not already an https binding type for port 443 in the Site Bindings dialog box, you can close IIS Manager and proceed with the Workflow Automation installation.

    • If there is an https binding type for port 443 with no IP address in the Site Bindings dialog box, proceed to Step 3.

  3. Select the https > port 443 binding in the Site Bindings dialog box, and click Remove.

  4. Proceed with the Workflow Automation installation.

NOTE:If you do happen to install WFA before seeing this workaround, you can still remove the duplicate binding, but you need to update the remaining binding to use the most recently imported certificate and start the Default Web Server in IIS Manager.
