NetIQ Cloud Marketplace Tutorials

Welcome to NetIQ Cloud Marketplace help.

1.0 Cloud Marketplace Overview

This video is a high level demonstration of Cloud Marketplace functionality.

2.0 Creating a New Client

This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of creating a Marketplace account for a new client, a customer decision maker whom you want to interest in running his business services in your cloud.

When your customer has a client account, you, as Sales Manager, can easily create a quote for business services that your customer's company can run in your cloud. This quote includes individually customized workloads with configured service levels, resources, and even discount packages. When complete, you can print or email all of the specifications (including the costs) of a deployable, packaged business service that the client can consider for purchase later.

3.0 Creating a New Quote

This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of creating a business service quote for a client, as performed by a service provider Sales Manager using NetIQ Cloud Marketplace, a plug-in tool for Cloud Manager.

You can add workload templates from an existing Cloud Manager organization to this quote – templates that have a variety of operating systems and resources. When the quote is complete, you can deliver a report with all of the specifications (including costs) of a deployable, packaged business service with actual workloads that the client can consider for purchase later.

4.0 Configuring Workload Templates in a Quote

This video demonstrates the step-by-step process of configuring or customizing the workloads associated with a customer's quote.

The ability to customize and configure workloads in a timely quote (whether in real time on the iPad app interface or in a quickly-generated PDF you can send by email) ensures that your customers get realistic business services quotes that meet their business needs and budget constraints.
