4.6 Updating the Connector for Google Apps

The connector for Google Apps has changed in this release. When you update the CloudAccess appliance to version 2.2, the connector for Google Apps stops running and turns red. The updated connector for Google Apps contains additional fields you must configure before the connector can run again.

To update the connector for Google Apps:

  1. Perform an update of the appliance.

For more information, see Updating the Appliance in the NetIQ® CloudAccess and MobileAccess Installation and Configuration Guide.

  2. Create a Google service account.

For more information, see Section 4.3, Creating a Google Service Account.

  3. Log in to the CloudAccess administration console at https://appliance_dns_name/appliance/index.html.

  4. Click the connector for Google Apps, then click Configure.

  5. Add the Google service account’s email address and the path to the P12 private key file.

  6. Click OK, then click Apply to save the changes.

The new connector is now green and running.
