13.19 Warning—Restart Scheduler

When you set a new reporting port (a port through which the endpoint computers in the assessment will send result data back to the Console), you must restart the Vivinet Assessor Scheduler service, varun.exe. To restart, first make sure no assessments are running. Then do the following:

From a command prompt in the Vivinet Assessor root directory, enter

net stop netiqvivinetassessor (to stop the service)

net start netiqchariotvoipassessor (to start it)

Or take the following steps:

  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Administrative Tools.

  3. Double-click Administrative Services.

  4. Highlight NetIQ Vivinet Assessor.

  5. Click Actions > Restart.
