Use this Knowledge Script to count the number of Group Policies associated with the target server in Active Directory. This script raises an event if the number of Group Policies associated with the server exceeds the threshold you set.
Group Policy top-level folder
The default interval for this script is Every 30 minutes.
Set the following parameters as needed:

Set to y to collect data for charts and reports. If enabled, data collection returns the number of Group Policies found. The default is n. |

Specify the maximum number of Group Policies that can be associated with a computer in Active Directory before an event is raised. The default is 5 Group Policies. |

Event severity |
Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which the number of Group Policies exceeds the threshold. The default is 5 (blue event indicator). |
