Use this Knowledge Script to detect whether a cluster network is down. This script raises an event if the network is down or if a cluster-related API failure occurs.

How to Set It

Raise event?

Set to y to raise an event if the network is down, if the network has been partitioned, or when a cluster-related API failure occurs. The default is y.

Collect data?

Set to y to collect data for charts and reports.The default is n. If enabled, data collection returns a value of 100 if the cluster network is up and a value of 0 if the cluster network is down.

Event severity level when network down

Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which the network is down. The default is 8 (red event indicator).

Event severity level when network has been partitioned

Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which the network has been partitioned. The default is 9 (red event indicator).

Event severity level when cluster-related API failure occurs

Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which a cluster-related API failure occurs. The default is 15 (yellow event indicator).
