Use this Knowledge Script to monitor whether the Mailbox server can access specified mailboxes. This script raises an event if the time it takes to connect to a mailbox exceeds the threshold you set.

By default, this script runs every 15 minutes.
Set the following parameters as needed:

Select Yes to raise an event if the Mailbox server cannot access the specified mailbox. The default is Yes. A mailbox is inaccessible when it does not exist. |

Raise event if response time for accessing the mailbox exceeds threshold? |
Select Yes to raise an event if the amount of time it takes to connect to the specified mailbox exceeds the threshold you set. The default is Yes. |
Threshold - Maximum response time for accessing the mailbox |
Set the maximum length of time that the Mailbox server should wait to connect with the specified mailbox before raising an event. The default is 1000 milliseconds. The minimum is 1 milliseconds. |

Set the severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which the time it takes to access the specified mailbox exceeds the threshold you set. The default is 15. |
Data Collection |

Collect data for mailbox access response time? |
Select Yes to collect data for charts and reports. When enabled, data collection returns the response time for mailbox access during the monitoring period. The default is No. |
