Use this Knowledge Script to monitor the Windows Application event log for errors and warnings that contain the word exchange. This script raises an event if event log entries match your search criteria. You can filter your search by event ID, event category, and event source.
This script is a member of the Exchange2007 recommended Knowledge Script Group. For more information, see Section 4.43, Recommended Knowledge Script Group.

By default, this script runs every 15 minutes.

Raise event if Exchange error events are found? |
Select Yes to raise an event if the Application event log contains error events that match your search criteria. The default is Yes. |

Set the severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which the Application event log contains error events. The default is 10. |
