4.37 MGCP_PRI_ChannelHealth

Use this Knowledge Script to monitor the status of channels for an MGCP PRI (Media Gateway Control Protocol Primary Rate Interface) device. This script raises an event if a channel is not available.

General Settings

Job Failure Notification

Event severity when job fails

Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of the failure of the MGCP_PRI_ChannelHealth job. The default is 5.

Monitor PRI Channels

Select PRI channels to monitor

Select one or more PRI channels to monitor. To monitor all channels, select All. To select individual channels in the list, press [Ctrl] while clicking on the channels you want. To select an entire range of channels, press [Shift] while clicking on the first and last channel in the range. The default is All.

Treat unknown channel status as out-of-service

Select Yes to classify as out-of-service any selected channel whose status is unknown. The default is unselected. An out-of-service channel will trigger this script to raise an event.

Event Notification

Raise event if channel is not available?

Select Yes to raise an event if the selected PRI channels are not available. The default is Yes.

Event severity when channel is not available

Set the event severity level, from 1 to 40, to indicate the importance of an event in which at least one of the selected PRI channels is not available. The default is 5.
