1.0 What’s New

This release of UNIX Agent resolves the following issue:

When the Action_Knowledge script runs, the first iteration uses the NetBIOS as the value for the machine name variable; on subsequent iterations, the machine name value changes depending upon how the UNIX machine is configured with the Management Server. With this release, the machine name remains consistent throughout the iterations. (ENG341409)

IMPORTANT:To completely resolve this issue, you must also apply the appropriate management server hotfix:

  • For AppManager version 9.1, Management Server Hotfix 3

  • For AppManager version 8.2, Management Server Hotfix 8

  • For AppManager version 8.0 Service Pack 3, Management Server Hotfix 7
