To silently install the management server using the required parameters and default settings, run the following command from the folder in which you saved the management server setup program:
msiexec.exe /i "NetIQ AppManager management server.msi" /qn INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\NetIQ\" MS_B_WINUSER=1 MS_WINDOMAINUSER= "domain\User_Name_for_the_Windows_User_Account_under_which_the_NetIQms_Service_ Will_Run" MS_WINPWD="Password_for_the_Windows_User_Account_under_which_the_NetIQms_Service_ Will_Run" MS_RPSERVERNAME="Name_and_Instance_of_the_SQL_Server_that_Hosts_the_QDB_to_which_ the_Management_Server_Will_Connect" MS_RPNAME="Name_of_the_QDB_to_which_the_Management_Server_Will_Connect" MS_B_SQLAUTHMODE=0
