11.4 Differences in the reports between and Reporting Center Console and the Dashboard

This section highlights the differences in the reports between Reporting Center Console and the Operations Center Dashboard:

  • Graph data supports only date or date-time format for custom time interval: In the Operations Center Dashboard, reports configured with custom time intervals, such as week, month, quarter, or year in the Reporting portlet are not supported. The reports are displayed in date or date-time format.

  • If data points are close to each other in a chart, data points might overlap: The data points in a chart might get overlapped if the data points are too close to each other.

  • Y-axis scale in the Operations Center Dashboard and the Reporting Center Console might not be same: The Y-axis scale is set automatically and might vary based on the reports in Dashboard and Reporting Center Console.

  • Tool tip values for exponential data (e-10 or e+10) in the Operations Center Dashboard and the Reporting Center Console might not be similar. The Y-axis scale is set automatically and might vary based on the reports in Dashboard and Reporting Center Console.

  • Sorting the report data in Reporting Center Console does not affect the graph in the Dashboard: When you sort the report data in the Reporting Center Console, the graph displayed in the Reporting portlet of the Operations Center Dashboard does not change accordingly. So, the graph on the Reporting Center Console and Operations Center Dashboard might not appear similar.

  • Forecast and Moving Average reports do not work in the Operations Center Dashboard. These reports are not supported.
