1.3 Process Author Checklist

Process Authors are responsible for creating and maintaining processes and their associated workflows. After the Aegis Administrator has completed the initial configuration tasks, the Process Author can start creating triggers and process workflows in Aegis. Use the following checklist to help you complete these tasks.

 

Checklist Items

  1. For triggers that reference specific types of events, create named events. For more information, see Section 2.2, Understanding Named Events.

  1. Create triggers. For more information, see Section 3.0, Understanding Triggers.

  1. Create new processes. For more information, see Section 4.7, Creating a Process.

  1. If you are responsible for ensuring servers are resources in Aegis, set up resources and business services. For more information about resources, see the Administrator Guide for Aegis.
