2.7 Installing the Reporting Center Console Locally

These steps guide you through the process of installing the Reporting Center Console on a user’s computer. For more information about Reporting Center components, see the Reporting Guide for NetIQ Reporting Center.

To install the Reporting Center Console on a user’s computer:

  1. Log on with an Administrator account to the computer where you want to install the Aegis components.

  2. Run the Aegis setup program from the root folder of the Aegis installation kit.

    NOTE:Ensure the installation kit is located on the local computer where you are running the setup program.

  3. Click Begin Setup.

  4. On the Select Features window, select Aegis Reporting, and then click Next.

  5. On the Prerequisites window, under Required Prerequisites, click NetIQ Reporting Center, and then click Install Prerequisite to start the NetIQ Reporting Center Setup wizard.

  6. On the Feature Selection window, select Console, and then click Next.

  7. Follow the instructions in the NetIQ Reporting Center Setup wizard until you finish installing the Reporting Center Console, and then click Finish.

  8. Follow the instructions in the NetIQ Aegis Setup wizard until you finish configuring the Reporting Center Console, and then click Finish.
