Download and install the Yubikey Personalization Tool from Yubico.

Insert the Yubikey token.
Ensure that the token is recognized. The recognition is indicated by a message Yubikey is inserted at the top-right corner of the Personalization tool.
Select OATH-HOTP mode.
Select Configuration Slot 1, generate the OATH Token Identifier and Secret Key.
In Logging Settings, select Log configuration output.
Select Traditional format or Yubico format.
Click Write Configuration and save the CSV file.
