Multi-factor authentication using Advanced Authentication might not work if the request is redirected to a newly added node of an Identity Server cluster. This issue occurs because the aaplugin directory that contains the config.xml file is not available. If this folder is available and still the issue occurs, ensure that the config.xml file contains the endpoint ID and secret provided by Advanced Authentication.
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:
Create a directory named Novell in C:\Program Files (x86).
Copy the aaplugin directory and its content from C:\Program Files\Novell\ to C:\Program Files (x86)\Novell\ in the new Identity Server node and try authentication again.
