If you use Administrative Tools > Services on Windows to stop Tomcat, Tomcat does not shut down cleanly and displays an error. To continue, click OK.
The following command sometimes produces an error:
net stop Tomcat8
Whichever method you use to stop Tomcat, Tomcat is stopped. Wait a minute before restarting Tomcat.
