An alert is generated whenever the system detects a condition that prevents it from performing normal system services. Access Manager components sends alerts to various types of systems (such as a Novell Audit server, a Sentinel server, or a Syslog server). Administrator are informed when significant changes occur that can affect the Access Manager performance.
