To use the Geolocation rule, you are required to set up an external geolocation service provider. For example, you can use Neustar or MaxMind.
Click Policies > Risk-based Policies > Geolocation.
Select Enable Location Profiling to fetch the location data from the configured geolocation database. This data helps in identifying the location of a user based on the IP address.
Configure the provider based on your requirement as follows:
To configure Neustar:
Select Neustar Service in Geolocation Provider.
Specify the API Key and API Secret.
Specify the Web Service URL.
To configure a custom provider:
For example, you can configure MaxMind GeoIP. For more information about MaxMind, see MaxMind Support Center.
Select Custom Provider in Geolocation Provider.
Specify a name in Provider Name.
Specify the fully qualified name of the JAVA class. For example, com.company.test.MyCustomClass
Click Add Property to add properties to the custom class as required.
