If you have upgraded Access Manager from 4.3.x to 4.4.x, user authentication using the Generic Class fails. This issue occurs when the Advanced Authentication server certificate is not available in the NIDP trust store.
To workaround this issue, perform the following step:
Click Certificates > Trusted Roots > Auto-Import From Server.
Specify the Advanced Authentication server IP address, server port and the certificate name. The default port value is 443.
