NetIQ Delivers True End-user Experience Monitoring for Windows-accessed Applications
New AppManager ResponseTime Module for Windows Showcases Active Technology Innovation; Completes 360-degree View of IT Services
NetIQ Corporation, an Attachmate business, today announced the latest version of NetIQ® AppManager™ ResponseTime Module for Windows. IT organizations now have visibility into the end-user experience for any application accessed via the Windows desktop, including Microsoft Exchange (via Outlook), SharePoint, Siebel, SAP, and even custom or local desktop applications, without relying on programming or scripting expertise.

- An easy-to-use mechanism for recording synthetic transactions, using mouse clicks or data entry to emulate end-user behavior on the Windows desktop.
- Self-maintenance of these synthetic transactions through the use of optical character recognition and bitmap comparison techniques that keep the transactions current with any changes made.
- A graphical user interface that enables administrators to manipulate the workflow of a transaction using diagrams that are automatically generated during the initial recording.
